The following copyright terms apply to scholarly articles published in the International Journal of Science and Technology (IJST), published by Global Publications.
Copyright Ownership
Authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights to their articles without restriction. Copyright ownership is not transferred to IJST or Global Publications as a condition of publication.
The copyright holder is identified on each published article.
Rights Granted to the Journal
Authors grant IJST and Global Publications non-exclusive rights to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, translate, archive, preserve, and disseminate their articles in electronic and other appropriate formats.
These rights enable the journal to maintain published articles, make them publicly accessible, preserve scholarly records, and share article content and metadata with indexing and discovery services.
IJST does not acquire exclusive publishing or commercial rights to the articles.
Author Rights
Authors retain the right to use, reproduce, share, distribute, and adapt their work without seeking additional permission from the journal.
Authors may deposit their articles in institutional or subject repositories, incorporate their work into subsequent publications, theses, dissertations, or books, and make other lawful uses of their work.
Authors should acknowledge IJST as the original publication source when reusing the published article.
Third-Party Material
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts do not infringe the copyright or intellectual property rights of others.
Permission must be obtained where required for copyrighted material belonging to third parties. Such material must be appropriately acknowledged, and any separate copyright or licensing restrictions must be clearly identified.
Relationship with Open Access Licensing
Copyright ownership and open-access licensing are distinct. Authors retain copyright, while the use and reuse of published articles by readers and other users are governed by the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), where applicable.
Further details are provided in the journal’s Open Access Policy and Licensing Terms.
These copyright terms do not restrict the permissions granted under the applicable Creative Commons license.
Website Copyright
The copyright terms stated above apply to scholarly articles published in IJST. Copyright relating to the journal website, including its design, administrative content, and other non-article materials, is governed separately.
